ok i am getting a 250 amp alt from mechman and 3 d3100s form em also pretty soon. im pretty sure this is a good enough bank bc it was what was suggested by him. but what i need to know really is how many runs of 1/0 should i use? they will be fairly short something like 10ft or so.

3 runs of 1/0 power and 3 1/0 grounds would be minimal with a true 10k, do you plan on running maybe a XS 2400 up front?

well technically its 6-7k for subs and about another 1k for mids/ highs. so not a true 10k. more like 8 actually. but yea ima fit as big of a bat i can up front also.

I did a single run of welding 4/0 (12ft ish) and grounded to body with 240A max alt output and could support two 3000.1s

I agree with the three runs of GOOD 1/0 or welding 2/0 :good:

I would use 5 batteries, and add another alternator when you can. I would start with at least 4 batteries. 3-4 runs of 1/0 should be good. G/L.
