And they sell high performance mufflers for 2 strokes as well, so I would keep it on......either way. BURRITO Posted September 25, 2009 Report Share Posted September 25, 2009 leave the pipe (muffler) on or get an aftermarket high performance pipe... why do you want to take it off? maybe we can help you achieve what you wanna do without taking it off. that bayou is a 4 stroke and yes you will burn your valves up without back pressure...
