And they sell high performance mufflers for 2 strokes as well, so I would keep it on......either way. BURRITO Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 leave the pipe (muffler) on or get an aftermarket high performance pipe... why do you want to take it off? maybe we can help you achieve what you wanna do without taking it off. that bayou is a 4 stroke and yes you will burn your valves up without back pressure... garrettr Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 i have a friend that has a bayou and he took the baffle out of his exhaust it didnt really make it run any better but made it sound like it did he hasnt had any problems out of it like this i would recommend re jetting it if you do plan on doing this Quote
