Ordered My Sub!

So i changed my mind once again. I decided to stay 15" because of my lack of space. And ive heard great thing about Alpines subs. So I went and ordered the Alpine Type R 15 Dual 4 ohm. It should be alot better then my P1 15. Im super excited and cant wait till it arrives.

System Specs:

Alpine SWR-1542D 15" sub

Sealed Subwoofer Box

MTX mxa 6001 Class D 774watts RMS @ 2ohms

MTX Bass Knob

Pioneer 6.5's in doors

MTX Thunderdome 6x9 in rear

Stinger 1 Farad capacitor

80 amp stinger fuse

BIG 3 in 4 gauge wire

4 gauge power/ground wire

JVC MP3 CD Car Deck (KD-G320)

12 gauge Monster speaker wire to Sub

16 gauge Stinger speaker wire to doors

Stinger Gold Plated Battery Terminals

good choice

just a couple days ago, i heard a 15 type r hooked up to a memphis amp, in an obcon box. it straight POUNDED. i wont lie, i was surprised.

Same here but in a big ported box and just the Sub and box was $500!!! But it sounded good

thanks guys going in a sealed box TEMPORARLY. Will be ported in june. Beeing ran off a MTX MXA6001 birthed at 774 watts RMS at 2 ohms. Cant wiat.

That amp should power it just perfect, but I bet you cant wait til June I love the sound of a low-tuned ported box over a sealed box

Ya i will be building box early june. I got a message saying order cannot be sent because there is not an exact address match for my order ??? they said call as soon as possible. Im going to call monday morning but wtf does that mean we put everything in perfectly and even triple checked it before ordering.

It must suck to be Canadian hahaha jk man, I'd just call them, sucks that it will be leaving 3 days later though. At first its gonna seem really loud and then you will get used to it and be dying for that ported box. Once you port that sucka it is gonna blow your car apart.
