couldnt he use a DMM and a test tone? Oscope would be ideal but i think you can use a DMM and test tone to match outputs. feel free to correct me if im wrong.

o-scope to find the highest setting for a clean signal, than measure that ac output, record it, set the 2nd amp to that same ac output, make sure the 2nd amp has a clean signal with an o-scope.

Depending on if he is running 1 sub or 2 subs. You can use a DMM. If 2 subs a dmm will work. but with 2 subs you want to use a matching device (I can't remember what it is called right now). But is send the signal to the sub at the same rate.

Set one amp with the dmm using a 50HZ tone then match that amprege on the other amp. Also the peice I was thinking of is Maxx-Link, can be found below.
