brsteinbach
Hey guy's, don't know if this is the right section to post this in but anyways. Like the title says when my bass hits my car/idle goes down about 200 RPM's. I only drop about 1.5 volts, form 14.58v to 13v I just don't get why it makes my rpm's drop. Here's a vid if you listen you can obviously here my idle go down. You guy's have any ideas what this would be or if this has happened to you before. Noobtastic14
do you have a H/O alt? sounds like the same thing that was happening to my car- my 1.8L didn't have the horsepower to turn both alts under load so it would struggle. -Drew Quote I am a United States Military Arts and Crafts Professional. Boon
Alternator is increasing its load on the engine. You're giving it no gas so the increased load = lower RPM. Quote 10.x volts fo' life!

brsteinbach
Y accord did that too but it was when i was on stock alt and a t4000 where did you get a H/O for your accord? Ive only seen a 170 amp alt and its like 400 bucks. I wish I had a t4000 then their would be an excuse for it to die down. keepinitloud
im wondering if it has some to do with the throttle position sensor or something like that where did you measure your drop in voltage at the battery or at the amp I dont see why a 600 watt amp would do that Quote 06 chrysler 300C Hemi one mmatts dreadnaut 15 powered by a planet audio vx 2200d fosgate p200 running planet audio 8" midbass drivers and super compression tweeters stock battery and a stinger spv44 Irragi 300 amp alternator big 3 1/0 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/55075-system-in-my-300c/page__view__findpost__p__763656__fromsearch__1
