AI James Posted September 30, 2009 Report Share Posted September 30, 2009 well first off get a real amount of power not hifonics 1600(1200 at best) the hdc is more comparable to the xl imo dont let the rms ratings fool you. as far as an xl youll need at least the RMS rating to it which is 1500. Either way for either subs i feel a better amp is needed. SPACE is limited to just 1-12" or 2-10" subs. Im just unsure where to go as for brands. I thought of buying 2-10" dc level 3 subs 1-12" dc level 4 sub 1-12" dc level 4 xl sub 1-12" A-Q " HD" sub 2-10" A-Q " HD" subs...
