CaptainzPlanetz Posted October 4, 2009 Report Posted October 4, 2009 After reading throgh that kids thread about getting pulled over for loud exhaust and other crap, I was wondering when did the term "Ricer" come along to describe those kind of cars, I am not sure when I noticed the term, but I most definatly noticed an increase in these types of cars with the Fart cans after the F&F, but I am sure it was around before that, So guys what is yalls knowledge on the subject? ¿ǝɯɐƃ ǝɥʇ Trolls never learn............ As import cars became more common people started calling them "Rice Burners", and as time went on it was shortened to just "Ricer" Also more commonly used to describe import cars that have been modified to look fast, but aren't. Most ricers have stock engines and a fart cannon exhaust. Some of those fart cannon exhausts actually reduce horsepower by using far smaller pipes than stock to get an increase in dBzzz.
