so you can see what i already have (and what i plan on getting) from my sig. the Dat 4channel has an 8 guage power input. so my question is for the dat should i get a 1/0 4chan amp kit to a dblock and 8 guage from the the dblock to the 4channel? or should i just get a 8guage amp kit for it? i guess im asking what is the optimal way to hook this stuff up.

If you get bigger then you need wiring now, it makes it easier to upgrade as you go. ;)

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)

X2

My old 4gauge wiring kit from my first install is sitting in a box now. Plus if you add additional amps you are already set.

ok so i dont need any other 1/0 off the dblock for the other amps right. those would just be ran to the battery regularly. and i would just need to buy 1 dblock for 1/0 to 8guage.

and how long should the the 8guage wire be from the block...about a foot?

You can run it as far as needed to do the install. Whatever works for the layout.
