How much better is the SQ on the Hifonics than the Sony? How much louder is it?

I can get a lot more bump out of them. I think they can hit their potential with this amp! =D

I have them wired at 1ohm, before it was 4ohm.

9851 yes.

Yea, its set at max.. You might be thinking of the gain/level... which the level/gain is set 25%

I was only suggested to keep the gain/level low.. lol.. im thinking it shouldnt be max.. but idk.. someone give me a lesson here.. lol

you shouldnt have anything really at max. do you experience your subs bottoming out at all?

i was told every 1/4 turn on the bass boost makes the amp work twice as hard. back when i didnt know any better, i did the same and my amp went into thermal protection because it got so hot from the bass boost being all the way up.

Well i'll turn it down then lol.. atleast put it half way and see how it sounds lol.

I dont have any problems with the subs bottoming out or sounding bad.. this amp does lot better than my 1200w sony lol..
