Will only 2 inches between the outside of the port wall and the front of the speaker cause any problems ????

I am kinda in a bind for tonight as it late so I will haver to wait ad see what ya'll think I need 72" of port and I have about 77 now so I can move it in a little but not much...

the piece of mdf is only to show the distance and not the actual port

Yeah. You're gonna have issues building pressure in the box because the cone will most likely not load correctly :(

Not what I wanted to hear.

But I am running 4 subs. Does that make a differance?

What happens if I go skinner on the port? I have 6 cubes and an opening thats 10.5" x 15"

I thought about leaving the port out completley and just using the area bettween the speakers that face each other as the port but that is about 157.5" of port where as I only need 72"

Would 6" PVC ports help :help:

The subs need to be in the box, not in the port. I can't tell from that pic, but it looks like you have 3 subs in the box and one in the port, and that won't work properly. Also, you generally want to keep all the subs on one face of the box not all the way around.

CAUTION!

POOR INSTALLATION MAY SHORT BOTH YOUR SYSTEM AND WALLET

I might redo my the face of my box then. I have a little extra wood.

I guess I will have to do 3 10's and since I have a crap load of room on the bottom on the box I will put the port there and make it internal as whell to take up the rest of the airspace.

thanks for all of the help......

OP are you retarded or what?? A few have asked you to explain WTF the picture is.

Can you not explain to us what the hell is the picture is???

Or what the enclosure is??

Not just a picture of a couple pieces of MDF and ask if there will be a problem?? Thats like me showing a picture of my foot and asking if my hand is ok...diggit?? dee dee dee

Clearly no one here knows what the hell you are talking about and you still havent explained.
