1992Chevy K1500
hell ya!!! Just seen this today. I'll upload them to PB, just give me a minute. 1992Chevy K1500
Here ya go: Port may need to be change to your liking. I'll gladly change it if you want. Box is 24" high by 48" wide by 28" deep (according to your dimensions) with a forward firing port and up firing subs. Port is 3" high by 46" wide. Made using 1" wood. Port is 3" high by 46" wide and about 19-20 inches long, putting tuning in the mid 30's at 10 cubes. 15.22 cubes before displacement, 13.71 after port displacement and (assuming 1 cube per sub) 11.71 after sub and port displacement. Should be just over 10 cubes after bracing (all-thread or wooden dowels recommended, but you can use 2x4's if you want). All-thread would net you some good strength cause you could use a lot of it. Give me a minute and I'll get a sketchup with the dimensions listed in the pic. 1992Chevy K1500
Forgot to mention, I have yet to put the second baffle on. The holes are for the cutout diameter of the subs. If you want me to, I'll post the pics with the second baffle. Also, I'll make one out of 3/4 wood if you want. David
Quick off topic - Wanna come visit South Florida just after the new year?? lol... If i have leftover money after products I'd be more than happy to have a hand with building my "big" setup coming soon. Doing 16 12s or 8 15s off 16-20k with only help from friends who aren't the most intelligent with wood working or installing. I'll show you what Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, and the Keys are made of lol. maybe, for the right amount of money i will travel anywhere, and I havent been to that part of florida so I may do it a lil cheaper. oldschool
I would do 1 18 sub up port back with 1 amp either leave out the back 6x8s or make a port thru the rear deck for the bass 2 come thru atleast that design works well in grand marquis which I believe is the same style trunk also tune 2 32 hertz 18s already want 2 play low plus with a bigger box it will peak closer 2 tuning. Edited October 15, 2009 by oldschool Quote TEAM GROUNDPOUNDERS INC. 156.5 OUT THE TRUNK OF A 95 CADDY W/1 SUB & 2AMPs score done on a termlab mic in the kick on the dash sealed was
