finkster
ok, so this is going into a dodge stealth hatch, so that is why it looks so retarded. its an enclosure for a Fi BL 15.... im looking for around at least 3 cubes after displacement....I have a couple of questions.....i wanna port either drivers side or the rear...but i only have about 4 inches from the back of the box to the hatch....so i dunno if that would starve the port or not...but can u guys help me design a port? i can run either aeros or slot port back.... OH AND THE BOX WILL BE 10.5 INCHES DEEP..... this is a birds eye view of the box. Gotz1lung
Can the sub be moved farther towards the rear of the car, then you could move the port forward till you got a little more than the 4in clearence? Decaf
i got 4.475cuft before port and sub displ if u use 1 6" aero and bring that box volume down to 4cuft the port would need to be 14" deep to be tuned to 32.14hz supposedly since the aeros have the flare u can put them 3" from a inner panel so im guessing 4" will be fine outside the box... if not u can add more clearance because u dont need the box to be as big as u have sketched out, so u can shrink the overall depth thats my suggestion depends on alot of things, do u want 1 6" aero or 2-3 4" aeros and since u know now u can go up to 4.475cuft what do u want ur final volume to be Edited October 9, 2009 by Decaf

Decaf
well then u could do 2 4" aeros firing up and use pvc elbows... put the aeros in the rear corners and angle the inside port flares towards the sub is there enough clearance to do ports firing up? if not then just do 2 4" on each side firing back or if 1 6" aeros just stick it in the middle and move the sub as far forward as you can stealths suck, lol... why arent u doing 2 10s anymore? Decaf
if ur using the sketchup above 4.4cuft i included .1cuft for bracing... so just use small 45s and dowel rods and ull stay around 4.4@32 13" total length including flare will give u 32hz 10" total length including flare will give you 36hz hatches sometimes dont get as low since the cabin space is smaller so id stick closer to 32hz than 35hz imo
