One Sub Not Moving As Much?

Recommended Posts

Hey guy's it didn't really bother me at first but now im kinda irritated and starting to get mad, The problem is one of my subs isn't moving as much as my other one.

I switched around the signal cables and still the right one is moving more. The left one is closer to the port so IDK if that is the problem or what.

Have any of you guy's ever have this problem?

(It's the sub on the left obviously, the one closer to the port)

maybe the sub not moving as much got disconnected and it just moving from the pressure of the other

does the box have a L port

and can u hook up each sub by itself to test each?

It's has a little bit of a signal because if I put presure on it with my finger I can feel it lol.

Yes its a L port

I'm gonna go try each channel alone.

i used to have these subs, and the lead wires used to come off sometimes. i would check that.

You will still be able to feel it moving if the right one is going because they are sharing airspace and the pressure will move the cone on the left one. Check your wires, and if everything is hooked up right, you are probably experiencing loading issues(right sub has an easier time moving creating pressure and making it harder for the left sub to move) I've never been a fan of multi sub single port enclosures for specifically that reason.......

CAUTION!

POOR INSTALLATION MAY SHORT BOTH YOUR SYSTEM AND WALLET

Thank you Decaf. I made a noob mistake and didn't check by unpluging one of the channels and I had no bass! So my wire came undone in the box.

Thanks again bro.

and thanks ugpbmx

no prob, sounded like a simple fix

I've had this problem and it was my jumper wire loose that was going from one coil to the other on my sub.

precisely

ur welcome :friends:

should be louder now too since u will lower the impedance hookin up another coil
