ok so currently in my car i just have a re sx15. i am runnig it at 4ohm off of a old school hifonics vii zues. which is 900 rms. it was beating just fine this morning but on my way home from school it began loud and when i changed songs it stopped playing music through any speakers. i turned it off and then back on and it then seemed fine. but i was stopped at a light and the turned the volume up because it didnt seem loud and all the sudden it got WAY louder. i dont know what it could be but for some reason i think its my battery. any help will be awsome! oooooo and yea the amp was pretty hot...

check the grounds if the amp was really "HOT".

might be voltage issues though.

but also check your RCA's if out of nowere your music wasnt "bumping" that loud.

you might be having a loose RCA somewere. check the headunit and amp(s)

first you should check the wiring and make sure the amp is wired correctly and then cut the gain down a little.
