I think four of those monsters would just be unreal. Do it. Don't think about it, just do it. It would probably be a super popular build and a well done 21" setup would easily get you SOTM. I couldn't care how popular the build is and if I'd win SOTM or not. It's prolli gonna be 50/50 if I'll even have a legit build log, more than likely just a few pics here and there. Then sum finished pics/vids one all the beauty panels are installed and everything is dialed in. The final setup will involve 8 15s though, decided on that tonite. My goal is to have it all finished and dialed in at least a week before SBN. 1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer... New setup, old ride... QX56 is staying stock til I get loud... It's only getting walled off if I don't meet my goal @ SBN. Pioneer AVIC-N2 (12) 12" RE SXs old model.... (3) AB VFL 500.1 @ 1ohm each Dual 300amp Ohio Gen alts.... (10) Northstar NSB-125s 26ft3 @ 33hz w/ a ton of port area 156.5 @ 40hz @ dash, Db Drag style / 153.2 Bassrace

Marlo Stanfield Posted October 17, 2009 Author Report Posted October 17, 2009 Another slight change in plans, I'm selling my Explorer to a friend with system included(minus amp + batts) and picking up an 01 Astro this weekend. Will give me more space and a generally easier/more proven platform to begin with. Plus it will free up another extra 1k-$1500 for the setup. Here's the van(guy posted it up @ 10pm and I called him less than 30min after to tell him I'll come pick it up this weekend) - http://miami.craigslist.org/brw/cto/1424994449.html Now that I have sum more room and cash I'm leaning towards 12 15s/24 12s in a diamond off 20k+ now. I've been getting the itch in the last few days to really make a push to make a run at 159.9, but main goal is just to have an insane GP. Have a good idea of the equipment I'll be using, will let u guys know which products in the next day or two. (6) 5000w amps... 18 big batts... 3 big alts... too much 2/0 Ultraflex welding wire to count...
