16 AA 10s Clamshell design help

So with my build over the winter I will be doing 16 10" AA Chaos woofers in my blazer in a clamshell enclosure. What I need help with, since this is my first clamshell build, is how to design the enclosure, what the best way to position the woofers are, and any other helpful tidbits you guys may be able to give me. I also wanna know if I should go ported or do a sealed clam. Any and all help is welcome.

Check out pictures of Neil Barber's last 2 setps and in my big build coming up(8 15s or 16 12s) I'll be doing a clamshell very similar to his.

You also could do a diamond w/ 4 woofers on each wall.

i had thought about a diamond but ive never really seen/heard them and i dunno how to design them.

If this diamond design is what i think it is look up assman's last build of his astro he had 24 10's in it(im assuming you got the woofers from him) but yea it sounded great and :hairtrick: :hairtrick:

No that's not the diamond design at least I was talking about... The one I'm refering to is the one used in the Tommy Mckinnie's truck(Ho Problems), DJs new setup, the 2 12 18" sub setups(one by Sundown and AA), and many others have utilized the design.

i know randys van quite well lol. and yes im buying the woofers from him. Ill have to research the diamond design compared to a clamshell. anyone know how well the diamonds work?

i see......interesting....im going to have to figure out exactly what airspace i need. I think i will probably go sealed with this. Power wise im up in the air. Here are my amp options

1 Sound Digital 12K

1 Stetsom 11k

4 Sundown 3500s

8 Sundown 2000s
