DUBIE
as said in the tittle bass is causing some serious problems to my Chevy TB. today i was driving to school and the "air bag light" and "check gauges" came on when the first bass note hit. i didnt care about the "check gauges" since some people told me it was just some sensor inside the truck that when it reaches ceartin noise it goes on. something like that. but now that the "air bag" light went on that shit got me worried. i dont wana be driving bumping music next thing i know that air bags pop out while im driving..LOL..is this just normal or is it something serious?..i didnt have any problems before and i installed it around last 2 years i think in january not sure..i dont think im that loud for causing all this..haha..lol..if anyone has any ideas on what it could be or anything be sure to let me know..if its time to downgrade then i guess its time.. problems so far 1. air bag light 2. check gauges light 3. door panels coming off 4. dash cracked 5. rear view mirror came off 6. right passenger window doesnt go up or down. 7. mirrors are starting to get loose. DUBIE
could be the alt/batts dieing, to cause the the dummy lights to go off, other then that I don't really know.. well bat is already almost dead i think..i got some serious dimming everything time i stop at a stop sign or at idle..sometimes car wants to turn off..but i also got a bat in the rear so i didnt think it would be affecting the front battery

z71kris
I would start by checking your batts, and then your alt. Try charging it on a charger, if you dont have one, buy one..start there Quote 03 GMC Sierra Z71 Ext Cab l 2 15" American Bass XO's l 1 Lanzar HTG2600 l AudioVox 1510D In dash DVD l KnuKonceptz Wiring l Big Three Done with KnuKonceptz KLMX 1/0 l Infinity Reference 6022si 6-1/2" Front Door Speakers l Upgraded to 145A Alt from 105A Alt l Custom Box 2^3 under the rear bench with resined bottom, and about 4 lbs of polyfill
k3n12ock
Must be a Chevy thing because the airbag light, check engine light, and driver window are all messed up now too. When the bass hits, airbag light comes on and off. Check engine light does the same thing. Driver window just failed so had to cob it to the rear window. cqtama
any electrical upgrades? if your running a t2000 i would definitely do at least the big 3 a new battery up front. maybe one in the back too. thats alot of power for stock electrical to handle regardless of weather or not its causing your check engine lights or airbag light. but im thinkg check engine could be something electrical..
