So as I mentioned before, I bought a sae1200d. Whenever I turn the bass up, all my speakers would distort and sound all fuzzy. When I turn the bass down, it's all good. Now, I did not know if my sub was like that too, anyway, I was bump "Speakerboxxx - Intro" then all of a suddenly the bass dies. So I'm thinking the amp shut off or something. So I turn off the HU, take off the faceplate, and stick it back on. Now all of a suddenly, my voltmeter messes up and only shows "stinger". All my speakers are now dead. I disconncet both the positive and negative from the front battery and rear batcap, unhook my HU and amp. I then rehook up EVERYTHING and still, nothing. WTF man. WTF can be wrong? This never happened until I got that sae1200d.

HU turns on but speakers dont work. Amp is on. It is NOT the one I won in the raffle. Just happens that I bought this amp last week and arrived today, when the shit started messing up.

First guess, you blew a few fuses. You could have accidentally shorted something.

My comp setup (Not bad for what it is):

HP Compaq Presario V6120US laptop with:

15.4" widescreen

AMD Turion 64 X2 1.6GHz processor

2x1GB stick DDR2 SDRAM (667 Mhz)

Seagate Momentus 500GB SATA HDD

128MB shared video memory

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

12 cell Lithium Ion battery (actual battery usage time: 6 hours)

What it does:

On a USB 2.0 Wireless card

Not sure which ones to check other than the "radio" one. I'm pretty careful when I hook things up. Same steps I do with all my other amps sans the problems.

Just... umm, what was I goona say?... Oh yeah, check for frayed wires anyway. Something completely unavoidable could have gone wrong.

It really sucks. It's dark now and I've no garage. Going to have to wait until the weekend to figure something out.
