k3n12ock
So as I mentioned before, I bought a sae1200d. Whenever I turn the bass up, all my speakers would distort and sound all fuzzy. When I turn the bass down, it's all good. Now, I did not know if my sub was like that too, anyway, I was bump "Speakerboxxx - Intro" then all of a suddenly the bass dies. So I'm thinking the amp shut off or something. So I turn off the HU, take off the faceplate, and stick it back on. Now all of a suddenly, my voltmeter messes up and only shows "stinger". All my speakers are now dead. I disconncet both the positive and negative from the front battery and rear batcap, unhook my HU and amp. I then rehook up EVERYTHING and still, nothing. WTF man. WTF can be wrong? This never happened until I got that sae1200d. 1992Chevy K1500
First guess, you blew a few fuses. You could have accidentally shorted something. Not sure which ones to check other than the "radio" one. I'm pretty careful when I hook things up. Same steps I do with all my other amps sans the problems. k3n12ock
It really sucks. It's dark now and I've no garage. Going to have to wait until the weekend to figure something out.
