I'm doing the big 3 today and my stock alt wiring goes into my fuse box but it doesn't look like it hits a fuse. can anyone help ? can i go straight from the alt to + term?

So how do i do the big 3 in my car? i just bought like 50$ worth of wiring. for the big 3 all you do is upgrade the wires right?

leave the stock wiring....u are simply adding wire

add a positive run from the battery to the alt...fused

add a ground run from the battery to the engine block (i attached it to the bolt holding my alt in)

add a ground from your battery to the frame

Does it HAVE to be fused? and what kind of fuse? 150a?

Its just more safe doesn't have to but its better to. I think I used 240 or so.

i would highly recommned a fuse....just because its safer

u fuse based on the size of wire....for 1/0 gauge the biggest u can go is 325 amps....150 will probably work...if it were me i would use something bigger....like 250amps+

i likes me some audio stuff...
