Ned help figuring out a 4 10 box design

Recommended Posts

even though i am getting cheap subs i still want to make the best i can out of them by a good box this is just a entry level system for me .

hope you will still be willing to help me out

I am pretty sure the Xplods dont like ported, they are meant for sealed, I remember another member on here built a ported box for his Xplods and it had much less output than his sealed box.

All BS aside, If I see one more comment in here that is NOT about the pre-sale, I will start the vacations. And that includes the trolls feeding the trolls.

YOU THE ONE THAT SOUND LIKE A OGER AND HUMPBACK/TROLLS?

ur enclosure should be 3.6cuft internal after all displacement

sony recommended tuning it to 39.5hz with a circular port

the sketchup port is not to scale but the sub placement and box size is

39w x 16.5h x 17.5d

3.8cuft@36hz is what i would do... i included .5cuft for bracing and 45s

4" tall rectangular port... 10.5" wide along the bottom of the box

and it will be a VERY tight fit... measure 18 times, cut once
