New Suburban Build. Ground Pounder (Engineering stage)

Recommended Posts

Honestly..Not really. I dont wanna spend much time perfecting a different box design. Ive built hundreds of boxes like what Im wanting to put in there.

I guess Im just not that ambitious about installs anymore. I mean... I cant wait to do it.. but wanted to stick to what Im good at. Not to say I couldnt make the 6th order work. I also dont really like the tonality of bandpass boxes. Go wit whatcha know. :)

I can make them peak at anything. Just different volume and tuning.

Did you ever look into those tunnel designs, they are extremely efficient and straight sick on the low end.

What did your previous clamshells peak at?

Awesome!! Cant wait to see it.

What you gonna run for alts?

Dom

Well the build will be on hold for awhile now, I bought a new car today and it's sucking up my current funding. I'll have a smaller setup in the works quite soon but will still do a 55+ in a daily driver.

Btw I've been running Ohio Gen alts for a little while now with great results. But if u wanna PM sum prices on 3 300a alts for a 98 Ford Explorer I'll take a look if the price is right.

1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer... New setup, old ride... QX56 is staying stock til I get loud... It's only getting walled off if I don't meet my goal @ SBN.

Pioneer AVIC-N2

(12) 12" RE SXs old model.... (3) AB VFL 500.1 @ 1ohm each

Dual 300amp Ohio Gen alts.... (10) Northstar NSB-125s

26ft3 @ 33hz w/ a ton of port area

156.5 @ 40hz @ dash, Db Drag style / 153.2 Bassrace
