Anthony Collova
I Say The Doors For The Left Over and Do Full Sheets on The Headliner Looking goo man! That Damplifier Lite is a very popular selling mat for us. Very light, thinn and flexible with a decently thick foil for better vibration damping. Good stuff! tdc3187
I am considering a major change of heart. I really want to keep all the products the same (speakers, amp, sub) that is why I choose Kenwood Excelon, but now I find myself saying RF a lot. The Kenwoods sound good but they just don't have the bass response I am looking for. I have a feeling the RF 6.5 component set bangs a lot harder then my current set up. Do you guys think the power set is worth the extra 100.00 over the punch set? tdc3187
Well as of the previous post I decided to scratch the Excelon build and consider a Rockford Fosgate build. So here is what I have come up with. Go with Rockford Power series on everything, if it is worth doing, it is worth doing right... Thinking of sticking with the Kenwood ddx814 T1652-s 6.5 component set for the front doors T1572 - 5x7 for the rear doors Power those with a T600-4 T212d2 12" sub Powered by a T1000-1bd Tie everything together with a 360.2 Protect it with a smart start for Iphone by viper, and ofcourse I am still planning a solid layer of damplifier lite and a layer of heat wave pro. tdc3187
So I made some wood speaker templates last night but, I think they were garbage. So I was toying around thinking about some ideas to beef it up a little bit. Then I remembered that I had this sheet of aluminum gusset plate in my garage for years. So happy I convinced my self not to throw it away. So I got everything set up this morning and battery for the jig saw is bad. So I am stuck cutting this by hand. This is going to suck. :x After what seemed to be hours of sawing I got this done. Then... Got one more started before it started raining. Hopefully i'll get these finished up tonight and installed tonight or tomorrow afternoon. going to wrap these in damp. lite and mount them. t Viper 5902, big 3, 1/0 Rockford wiring, 2 xs d3100, mechman 300a, pioneer avic-z1, 2 dc 12xls, Rockford t2500.1bdcp, Rockford t1000.4ad, Rockford t2 6.5 comps, damplifier Build log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/102584-carbon-fusion/

It is solid as hell, plus I am going to wrap it in damp. lite, then damp lite over the whole opening.
