The 4hps are absolute beasts man... I'll hopefully be getting my hands on a pair of fresh reconed 15" 5200s, have little experience w/ them so I might have a few box questions for ya.

1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer... New setup, old ride... QX56 is staying stock til I get loud... It's only getting walled off if I don't meet my goal @ SBN.

Pioneer AVIC-N2

They love small enclosures. Their high BL allows for that. I could get away with a 3 cubic foot ported box for the 18's and they shined with a ton of port area also (roughly 15-17 square inches of port per cubic foot)

those mids sound hella clean man

Thanks

They were being powered off a insignia receiver I got off ebay for 30 dollars....

Each speaker was getting no more then 25 watts rms.

I will not be cutting a ton of clean power to them short in the car, will have each door powered by its own Elipse 34230 (one of the most powerful and cleanest sounding highs amps for the money IMO) Yes that is 100 amps of current on each door :)

The sundown highs amps just wern't big enough for me :)

you can usually pick them up around 200 off ebay used all the time

I got a nice huge collection going .

Here is one for sale right now

Sounds clean! I cant wait to compete with you (if I dont chicken out) at SBN!

sounds good man

I did some testing today at a medium to louder volume

I didn't get to check every note as you can see some of the spaces are not filled on the paper.

The front drivers produced the exact same score as the rear drivers when tested in pairs (147.1)

It turns out the angle I had set for the V wall the drivers are mounted on was PERFECT

There is zero cancellation between the rear drivers and the front on my loudest note! :)

I am so content with everything right now.....and way more optimistic about adding the next two woofers at either the same angle or slightly wider.

Added some sound dampening to the drivers door and was able to raise the note to 43hz now and am touching a 152 even still off one amp unsealed and untuned. Waiting on saz4500s and batteries now.
