s-saudio
prett sure it was calculated correctly. maybe you can check the math for me? its ugh 16 or so cubes on the ported side, with 300 square inches port, 12 inches long. sealed is 4 cubes ... 2 18s imma shorten te length and see what happens. still testing different things. i peaker @ 45 hz iirc. so i should tune 45 hz and up? In my opinion your port area sounds like its really close now to where it should be for your airspace on the ported side of the enclosure. I would advise getting rid of the depth on your port and taking it down around 4 or 5 inches deep. The airspace on your sealed side sounds like it should work well for power handling (otherwise go to 2.5 per sub to get it louder with the power you have now) Try either of those things and see how it works out for you Caprice Wagon build 2010 Florida Spring Break Nationals MECA Drive By Winner 161DB on 15K @ 41hz Eclipse Build 155+ No Wall 2007 Steel Valley Regionals 3X 139.9 Winner 2008 SoundXtreme 3X 149.9 Winner 2008 Slamology 149.9 3X Winner 2008 149.9 Bass Race World Champion 2009 149.9 Florida Spring Break Nationals Champion
dwright27
simplist thing to do will be to cut the port length down as opposed to pullin this thing back out and moving the baffles. 2006 F-150 4 DC XL M2 18's Walled Daily Driver XS Power 4 DC 3.5kw Team DC Team S.P.L. s-saudio
Hope you enjoy my amps and hope they do you well! Thanks again man Talked to scott today and he said it shouldn't be a problem to get you the amp before your deadline. Parts arrive in a little over a week. I have not decided if they are going in the wagon yet. I got my eclipse back and have been pondering some ideas Caprice Wagon build 2010 Florida Spring Break Nationals MECA Drive By Winner 161DB on 15K @ 41hz Eclipse Build 155+ No Wall 2007 Steel Valley Regionals 3X 139.9 Winner 2008 SoundXtreme 3X 149.9 Winner 2008 Slamology 149.9 3X Winner 2008 149.9 Bass Race World Champion 2009 149.9 Florida Spring Break Nationals Champion

s-saudio
Kool kool sounds good! If they ain't going in the wagon and going in the eclipse then what's gunna go in the wagon? Guess that will be a suprise I am cookin a deal on some power though none the less In the meantime I did some testing tonight and dialed the port in. It wanted to shrink a little Excellent gain though (.7db) still on 4400 watts I took the car for a ride tonight and tossed both 4500s back in but did not get time to throw them on the meter. The lows are hazardous to my health from this car, it was the first time bass in the 25hz range has actually shook my throat so much it made it hurt. I really need to start using ear plugs more often at this point.
