Battery #2 got here today PWK Design is paid for MLA Module is paid for and on the the way (15.3v, dual alt) Friday Im ordering my custom Powdercoated yellow dual alt bracket from DC power. rival904 Posted December 4, 2009 Author Report Share Posted December 4, 2009 Ok, got some bad news, I got the other battery in the other day, and didnt think to really look it over, so I went to go throw it in the truck, and I noticed this.... Insurance FTW. So now itll be another week or so before I get another battery in the mail. Ordering my DC Power bracket today once I get off work and go deposit my paycheck. Last night I was feeling productive, so I built my battery tray. Im really hoping I can fit 8 batteries on it, but I think itll be closer to 7 That part where it looks like that piece of wood is short is where Im mounting my fuse holders for my 5 runs of wire. I still cant decided if I want to build my own, or just go buy 5 of the tubes and screw them down and mount them. If I build one, then itll be exposed and I will have to worry about something happening and Ill have to build a cover for it, if I went with the tubes, itd be all said and done and I wouldnt have to worry about anything. My replacement battery got shipped out yesterday, who knows when itll be here. I called MLA today, although I was told a 10day build time(I paid on the 1st), they said it wont be ready for shipping until the end of next week. I called DC Power yesterday, and even though my bracket was supposed to ship out on Wendsday, as of Friday, its just now at powdercoat. I also called MLA, my module wont ship until around the 18th, even though I paid for it on the 1st.
