tristan560
Ive got a buddy whos having problems running his 3 Saz-1500s. Theyre pushing 3 d2 18's. Is it possible to run them without using a maxxlink? 99 Jimmy SLT 4WD Systemless. 99 Grand Prix GTP DC XL 12 on 1.5k tuned lowwwwww. fritosaregood
If you have a good dmm you can gain match them, but the saz amp dont have daisy chain abilities. so splittin the signal from 1 to 3 might cause a problem. like splittin the rcas in to 2 then splitting one of those 2 in to another 2. you might have one rca set with half the original voltage, and the too others with a quarter of the original voltage. so a four volt deck is now down to 2 volts, 1 volt and 1 volt. seems like a maxx link is easiest. seller feedback: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=61719 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=68281 build log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/index.php?showtopic=44800 Gf's build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/54346-kickergirls-camaro-new-box-pg-5/#entry753970
Derrick824
That setup will work fine without a Maxx-Link. I ran that same exact sub/amp combo for a bit a few years back. Worked great. Rca voltage doesn't split like that. Even if someone uses a Maxx-Link you still have to match all the amps. Since the Maxx-Link uses single channel sub outputs y-splitters will still be needed to use three amps.

Andrew2944r
Maxxlink makes it easier, once gains are matched you can control everything thru the maxlink, even the bass knob controls all 3 amps. I run 6 amps it it makes it a hell of alot easier in my case. Team Ampere Audio
