He asked what I can do for him, sub wise, so I built him 6- 15"s that would take more power, and play lower than his MA 15s I haven't seen his truck until tonite, he kept telling me about it, I just never seen it. Told me he had hella speakers, like a hundred- I don't think he ever counted So he rolled by tonite to let me hear the 15s, and I was like Dayum, he did have a lot of speakers. I literally heard his truck for about 4 minutes before he rolled up in the driveway- I lever heard blues played that loud, that low- awesome So, anyways, here are the pics I took And if anyone is interested, he has a shop located in Yuba City, and he does great work- This is just his demo vehicle he is working on, but I believe he will be selling it. There was a hair trick vid or 2, but it was getting dark, and the camera wasn't picking it up at all Hes got 16k rms all Hifonics amps, 12k to the subs, 1 Brutus 2008 I believe, on each sub, so about 4k on the mids and highs and Yeah, hella bullit tweeters,, but was sounding pretty damn good, everything is leveled pretty good using 20 30 band eqs Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". Forevrbumpn Posted November 1, 2009 Author Report Share Posted November 1, 2009 yeah, subs I built him.. he said they get louder, lower than the MAs I tried to top the MAs the whole way across the board about 1" more coil winding width, which also increased xmax of course, power handling got better, and lower Fs, sexier cones, and no more lead slap. The MAs, they actually were so poorly built, yet the motors and frames are excellent, they just have lousy soft parts Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". Forevrbumpn Posted November 1, 2009 Author Report Share Posted November 1, 2009 I have no idea, I'am getting him to be a member of the forum, sure he will chime in he pulls hair tricks pretty easy. it was dark, and we used my step daughter for the vid, but you really cant see anything and he really doesn't even listen to rap I don't think, hes a jazz and blues guy, so it was hard to find a song that had good constant bass for a hair trick, but what you see in this vid, is with the windows all the way down, first try at a hair trick without much of a bass heavy mix Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". He went to the Woodland Lowrider show about 3 weeks ago, got 1st place in the stereo sound off, but I have no idea if that was even any kind of DBDrag, MECA, IASCA, or just a show with a meter He just finished the build on this and hasn't showed it off that much yet Quote I have a ritual called "terminator".
