Mr Bigolsworth
do i need a flare? yes u will want a flare, other wise ur box will wissle. u may be able to find them at locol store but dont hold ur breath. but u can make one ur self, with pvc and a heat gun, just heat the pvc and press down on the ground and rotate. it will flare out 2002 chevy avalanche Currently have: 2 dc xl 18 set of T2652-s scv-6k Ct sounds 75.4 270a mechman xp3000 d3400 Wanted: saz 200.4 Second set of T2652-s D3100's deadner
Guest
a flared port is not needed. sure it helps with the air flow, thus needing less port area for a box. but you can get away with PVC ports perfectly fine. in a basic range of efficiency i think it goes, flared circle, normal circle, slot port. a_steezy
cool cool, i'll probably play around with making the flairs if not it's all good. how does this sound http://psp-inc.com/tools.html Volume of box in cubic feet 4 Tuning frequency 36 Port diameter 4 Number of ports 4 then it says i need 23.xx" of port. so cut the 4 pieces into a little under 6" will four 4" ports be good on the port area '98 Dodge Durango 5.9L 5% front windows, 2.5% on all backs Alpine CDA-9883 Kicker ZX350.4 Kicker KS650's in all doors Kicker 1/0 hyperflex

No, no, no, no, no the flare is what makes a round port so damn loud. Without the flare you are better off running a slot port.
