Not to be an ass, but if some random kid walked into my shop who doesnt have a car, doesnt have a license, doesnt have anything to show me, and said he didnt have any experience Id probably tell him the same thing. Whats in it for him? You even said that you're just looking to go to learn how, If you dont know this stuff, and only have experience installing an amp, theres really no need for you to be working at a shop as an installer.
