drewb53
I wanted to know would it be a waste of time for me to build a ported box for my subs (http://www.crutchfield.com/p_113W3011/Kenwood-KFC-W3011.html?search=kfcw3011&ssi=0&tp=111)? And before you say that i should get better subs, i would, but i cannot afford them right now. By the way this is going in a monte carlo ('97) so any ideas on what way to face subs and port also. raytard
build a nice sub/port back box if you want a little more out of them. just be really careful with anything touching those cones, they kinda have a tendency to just shatter apart if something touches em while theyre beating. and build it a little beefier than you think you need, can always put new subs into a strong well designed box when the time comes Quote Build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...hl=avalon+build monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now) Team DC

fischy fisch
what would be good to tune to for everyday? 35hz - 40hz is a normal tuning for ported box but if you like lows you could go a lil lower if you want i tune my stuff to like 28hz and up depening on who im building a box for but i personaly like around 30hz cause i listen to a lot of slowed music Quote lol. but i haven't and i don't plan on it. plus i'd probably miss and hit her belly button or her ear or something. lol.
