Yes I'm up for a wall, I want a challenge. The sketchup is no where near the proper dimensions, just an example what I'm thinking about. Ive been designing box after box just trying to build it right...you know.. measure twice cut once. I'm trying to stay around 10 cubes, and work with the dimensions of this small car.

Edit: Maybe I'll build the box bigger, just when I was told by the company that 10 cubes was what I should build it I figured I should stay around 10 cubes.

btw the cars a sunfire.

Why 10 cubes?

I like 12-14 cubes for 2) 18s in a non wall.

And walls are designed much different. You cant go by the "norm" of box specs when doing a wall.

You can get 20 cubes in a Sunfire before displacement.

18 cubes after displacement would be nice.

It's a Sunfire sedan. 10 cubes because the owner of the company said 10 cubes, I'm more than willing to double the size and get every last cubic foot out of my back seat, I was just trying to listen to what he said. But if a walls a different game I'll change up my design completely.

EDIT: I really appreciate your input ed, going to completely change my design and think outside of the box (and go with a wall)

10 cubes maybe for a general street type box.

Most manufacture box recommendations are done as general ideas for a wide range of setups.

( I know because I do box recommendations for manufacturers)

Truth is that there is no perfect box design.

It depends on your goals, your car, and many other things.

Since you have a small car, want a wall, and obviously want it loud and musical, a small wall of 16-20 cubes would fit you nicely.

I would suggest no less than 250 sq inches of port area.
