loburbon
you have a pair right? and there behind your back seat? if so without some crazy fab work or a blowthrough, you will never reach the full potential of those subs. it's a sad reality, but thats how it is. i have built boxes for those trucks and there's just not enough room back there Quote 2000 gmc yukon 4 sundown Zv3 15's 4 dd m2a's kenwood kdc-x994 2 batcap 4000's 1 batcap 2000 dual alts. 154@37hz and climbing http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3231683 http://www.myspace.com/torque150

loburbon
but something else they dont think about, is just because you can shove a box for 4 10's in a trunk and they have the right airspace, if they have no room or way for the sound to travel, then they will still sound like ass and all your gonna hear is rattle rattle coming from the trunk Quote 2000 gmc yukon 4 sundown Zv3 15's 4 dd m2a's kenwood kdc-x994 2 batcap 4000's 1 batcap 2000 dual alts. 154@37hz and climbing http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3231683 http://www.myspace.com/torque150
a_steezy
there are some good points coming out. i personally downsized from four 12's in proper space, to the 15" i have now, and is it as loud? no, is it more convenient to me? yes. it's nice having room in the trunk imo if you wanted those two 10's to get louder, it's definitely possible. if you have your 15" box all built up why change? loburbon
steezy did your 4 12's box take up every bit of room in your trunk to were a midget couldnt even masturbate in there? or was this in your durango? if your talking about a durango or other suv then thats a completely different scenerio.
