may03LT
I had never attempted anything like the pods before, and didn't know how they would turn out, so I didn't go crazy with the pics. Shout outs to PT Cary, Jextel, and mbdblue.
may03LT
This was another pstone11 masterpiece. I had 2 L7s from my pre-smd setup, so I bought a third. The main goal was to bassrace 139.9 class, which turned out to be no problem : Since it was a "temp" setup, I didn't go crazy with the build pics. Scores: 144.9 @ 38 sealed up on the dash 147.4 door open in the kick. She hits the lows nice. Vid of Showime SPL run on Sunday. 1st place in the classic no wall class. I am waiting on an order from Second Skin to get the roof deadened, more to come. Thanks for looking.

may03LT
Nick - thanks mane! Ryan - thanks! the only thing that is certain is the new build will feature T3 subs. There are still a few more things I have to work out, so it's possible that it won't be ready until next season.

may03LT
Pulled the headliner this morning in preparation for Second Skin Damplifier. Since the headliner has to come through the hatch, removing the box was necessary. Mrs. may03LT was in on the action once again. First, we unhooked the grab handles, then we removed The A, B, and C/D panels, the visors, the visor retainers, the overhead consoles, the rear push pins, the rear "hook thingys", and the liftgate weatherstrip. The other brand of deadener, installed last July, is still holding up strong after 2 hot summers. YMMV. Now for the crappy part. There was no intermediate connector for the headliner wire harness, and nfw was I going to remove the wiring harness that is glued to the liner. I cut and taped each of the wires halfway down the drivers side B pillar. Soldering them back together won't just be easy, it will be fun. While unwrapping the harness, I found this:ugh: Almost done. Brace fix one from a year or so ago was still rattle free. Ghetto brace fix was done without removing the headliner just to stop the rattles. The most recent started rattling the other day. Looks like the foamy crap disintegrated and the roof was smacking the bare metal. I put the box back in for a couple of reasons. One, I can install the Damplifier with the box in place, so when I'm done I can torture the roof and catch and additional problems before I reinstall the headliner. Two, I need bass. Three, the box is too heavy to lug inside. That's it for now. More to come. Cash. I got to hang with Drew this year again at Carlisle ATN and hear this setup. Very nice. Actually is one of the reasons I put a little system back in my ride. Lookin good Drew and thanks for all the help with mine. Thanks man!
