mxdustinmx Posted November 10, 2009 Author Report Share Posted November 10, 2009 yeah get rid of that tiny azz wireuse some nice 12g/10g/8g wire since ull be running 50v+ thru that speaker wire or double/triple up on smaller wire... the name of the game is reduce resistance... and little things like large enuf speaker wire can raise ur "resting" impedance which will translate to slightly less power Is this better? Decaf Posted November 12, 2009 Report Share Posted November 12, 2009 u likely will need some extra support for the outer port wall... this is why i have a dowel rod in the port u could add another piece of mdf to make it 1.5" thick if u have another 3/4" extra width dont be afraid to add more dowels... they are cheap and take up very little space screw the dowel rods together if u can/cover in resin Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
