yeah get rid of that tiny azz wire

use some nice 12g/10g/8g wire since ull be running 50v+ thru that speaker wire

or double/triple up on smaller wire... the name of the game is reduce resistance... and little things like large enuf speaker wire can raise ur "resting" impedance which will translate to slightly less power

u likely will need some extra support for the outer port wall... this is why i have a dowel rod in the port

u could add another piece of mdf to make it 1.5" thick if u have another 3/4" extra width

dont be afraid to add more dowels... they are cheap and take up very little space

screw the dowel rods together if u can/cover in resin
