yep extra wire ='s one thing to me.....big 3 if you don't have it already! an judging by the fact he is running 4ga now i doubt he has a big 3 done.

im not sure how 2 do it on my car

it shouldent be any different from other cars you just replace the wire going from your alternator to your battery with 1/0 gauge or bigger

That's not all that you do for the big 3...

To the OP - run the bigger wire it's worth the cost and it will make a difference. Electrical upgrades should be the first thing upgraded when planning out a new setup.

1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer... New setup, old ride... QX56 is staying stock til I get loud... It's only getting walled off if I don't meet my goal @ SBN.
