1992Chevy K1500 Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 (edited) OK. So I have chosen some good speakers and an amp for powering them. I want ya'lls opinions on my choices. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_18601_Hifonics+HFEQ.html I woud like to get that EQ because I plan on using my laptop until I can get a custom carputer built. It's within my price range and looks to be pretty good. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_11756_...ch+P5000.5.html I know this isn't the best amp, but it's within my price range. I plan on buying 2 sets of these: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_3572_Kicker+KS5.2.html For the front 4 channels and 2 of these: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_8311_K...84+-07C84-.html On the subwoofer channel. Do ya'll think that will be good enough for my very, very small budget. I don't make a lot of money. 1992Chevy K1500 Posted November 9, 2009 Author Report Posted November 9, 2009 (edited) Anyone? This is what I was thinking as far as the system: The HU (Clarion) would be just for radio. The carputer would hold my music. The HFEG would boost the input from both for use at the amps (since it has a built in line driver). The P5000.5 would be for the mids/highs and the RF r500-1 would be powering a DC LVL3 10" in a Tline. tristan560 Posted November 9, 2009 Report Posted November 9, 2009 Ok i cant blow that pic up big enough....but why are you running both kicker comp subs and a dc? Quote 99 Jimmy SLT 4WD Systemless. 99 Grand Prix GTP DC XL 12 on 1.5k tuned lowwwwww.
tristan560 Posted November 9, 2009 Report Posted November 9, 2009 And it might be cheaper/easier to just buy an older ipod nano and run the songs off that instead of a carputer. Quote 99 Jimmy SLT 4WD Systemless. 99 Grand Prix GTP DC XL 12 on 1.5k tuned lowwwwww.
1992Chevy K1500 Posted November 9, 2009 Author Report Posted November 9, 2009 (edited) Ok i cant blow that pic up big enough....but why are you running both kicker comp subs and a dc? yeah, sorry about that. The original file is 40 MB! Those are Kicker 07c84's. I would actually be running the Kicker 07c84 8" subs as mids. And I want have a carputer right away. That will come later on. I will just use a laptop for right now.
