meatwhistle Posted May 6, 2007 Report Posted May 6, 2007 i tried hookin up my PS3 to my new lcd monitor (viewsonic VX922) to play in some HD, i bought a HDMI to DVI cable n hooked it up but all i get is a blank screen on my monitor, but it works fine on my regular tv! anyone have any suggestions, maybe settings? ChevyBoy Posted May 6, 2007 Report Posted May 6, 2007 yea you need to switch the ps3 in the video menu i believe. i had to do that with mine last nite. that will open up the hdmi port on the ps3 otherwise it will be blank.

ChevyBoy Posted May 6, 2007 Report Posted May 6, 2007 i was freaking out last nite thinking the same thing since i just got an hd tv and then my buddy with a ps3 gave me a call and told me that. i was soooo pissed though cause like you said, all i had was a blank screen. lol

ChevyBoy Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 ok at the main screen go to settings display settings video output settings then go up to hdmi then follow the instructions they give you.
