Ok say its 1100 amps of current flowing when at full tilt you have to have 80% of that ready within seconds (batterys) then while they are depleated your alternators need to replenish the storage bank. I would start off with 3-4 dc 270xp's and 8 group 31's and thats banging it all the time. I may be alittle off but im no pro.

I like to do 2 group 31's per 2000 watts.

10k and 15k is a pretty significant difference in power, so which one is more likely?? Also which amps will u be running?? every amp draws a different amount of amperage.

I'm all for helping you out man and helping you learn as much as you can.. But did u really need to make another thread regarding this?? Could have simply asked the questions within the first or second thread u made about this setup. If I were you I wouldn't have a learning build be 4 18s and 10k+ because in setups of this size things always seem to go wrong. I'd start with like 2 18s + 5k(which is no joke either) and learn tricks of the trade. I'd just hate for you to go out there and mess up thousands of dollars of equipment, not saying you will but I've seen it done before.

^^^^^ true ^^^^^

With the hifonics 2610's i would like to have very little voltage drop to make sure you get every drop of power you need. I would recommend a voltage module to run at 15.3v to charge your battery bank quicker.
