BassJunkie's Walled Sunfire

Recommended Posts

A friend of mine had a sunfire just liek that with (4) 12" Solo-x and 2 warhorses in it.. it was pretty sick..

and my roomate has 2 of those RD lvl 5 18's in a wall in his deawoo with 2 visonik (7k?)

so moral of the story is 2 good choices, RD and sunfire!

RD has level 5s?

those tweeters are stupid efficient. its takes like no power to get them loud, i only have mine crossed over at 2.8khx and they sound pretty good, i would like to cross them over at 5.6 soon though. You will be happy with them! cant wait to see some more progress!

It's a cool build so far. I did the same thing to the rear of my trunk and the vent. It was killin my output. You could trim the foam above the baffle and cover it with glass or make a trim piece. No on the wiser. That would make it look real good.

How is that onyx amp. It's next on my list.

Thanks. Thats my intention with the foam, just waiting on my wire to get here to get a few more runs through before I shave and fiberglass it all. I'd hate to have to run more wire through all the foam and glass. Sealing that vent was the best thing have done besides the foam on the wall as far as output goes. I love the mbquart amp, If I decide to do speakers on top of the wall I may get a second one :)
