sean 371
First off, prefab boxes suck. And second, you can find those subs muuch cheaper at another site, like www.etronics.com. Sonic doesnt offer that great of discounts on kicker gear. And lastly, kicker's l5's and l7's suck in sealed boxes, you should really consider a ported box Quote A couple links to some box builds: Tahoe Box 1, Tahoe Box 2, Nissan Titan, VW GTI, Mini-Bump, Hummer H2, Ford F-150 My own car builds (current setup --- under construction): Overall Thread, Kickpods, Dash, Back Doors Subwoofer Wall

shooter69
any chance you could dish out more money than 180? 2000 watts rms isn't gonna be cheap.. x2 on the Fi idea. or maybe some CVX's? civichatch
IF you can stretch your budget ide go with this combo: Sub: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_8906_R...wer+T115D2.html Amp: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6189_P...ik+A1800DB.html I dont know if that sub can handle that much power but Im sure it can. I mean it is rockford Quote System Specs: Alpine SWR-1542D 15" sub Sealed Subwoofer Box MTX mxa 6001 Class D 774watts RMS @ 2ohms MTX Bass Knob Pioneer 6.5's in doors MTX Thunderdome 6x9 in rear Stinger 1 Farad capacitor 80 amp stinger fuse BIG 3 in 4 gauge wire 4 gauge power/ground wire JVC MP3 CD Car Deck (KD-G320) 12 gauge Monster speaker wire to Sub 16 gauge Stinger speaker wire to doors Stinger Gold Plated Battery Terminals

If you're going sealed, don't use kicker. Buy a power acousik a2400db or hifonics bxi2005 and two Fi Q 12's (www.ficaraudio.com). That will be cheaper than what youre looking at, and sound muuch better.
