OBI
Hey I wanted to stack my amps (saz 2000) 3 high. It seems that the only size all-thread that fits in the screw holes is the #10 bolts. But these seem way to flimsy. Is there a better way to do it? I wanted something like this. http://www.sundownaudio.com/index.php/ride...hannon-lee.html Any ideas will help. Wanna do this tomorrow. 1992Chevy K1500
You could make a custom metal rack. That would allow you to use some kinda thick metal tube and plates plus heavy duty bolts (don't break the amp ). It shouldn't be expensive if you know how to weld decently. Bumpindemlowzz
You could cut a slot about the width of a sawblade into 2x4's or simular so the amps feet will slide into them. cookiemonster
All thread worked great for my application. I had 2 3500's mounted to the box face. If you are stacking them horizontally, it should work even better. Quote 1989 Honda Civic 1990 Honda Crx Refs: Sundownz, Derrick824, QCguy

It looked like they used allthread and some pipe as spacers and to add a little stability to it too. Nirvalica
I don't know anything about all thread or how strong it is. What I do know is that even if it feels weak to you, you have to remember that is only one of 4 rods that will support the amps, and not only that, but the amps themselves will act as braces. It'll work like scaffolding. I wouldn't worry at all. Try it out and see. If you determine it is too weak after you try, then you should worry about another way of doing it. Quote My Youtube Page. OBI
Cool. You guys thinkg they'll be fine if they are stacked directly on each other with no spacing? As the heatsinks are on the sides.
CodyB
Id give em a little room, at least if they do move they wont scratch each other.
