well i have decided im going to take my setup out for now bc i dont wanna blow,fry or etc to my subs bc of my voltage ive been playing them hard ( an i know its stupid ) an i just cant with stand me frying my coils bc i hate an i mean hate the smell plus i dont have the money to recone them so i was thinking my best option is to take them out until ik my voltage will with stand an hold up bc ik from reading everyones builds an posts i should have worked on my electrical first if ne one thinks its a good or bad idea just tell me

You could always just live with playing it lower until you upgrade the electrical. But I guess if it's too hard not to...taking it out would do the trick.

i would say around 9 to maybe 11 but i think on some songs if it could go lower then 9 it would

Well you can do what S15_Silvia said, but if it's too hard not to play it at full tilt, just keep it out untill you are able to upgrade your electrical, because that is pretty low, I wouldn't let mine see 9

well i have 2 yellow tops waiting to be hooked up with the red top under the hood an i have a alt from iraggi its a 260 amp alt already paid for just got to wait for it to get here but i dont have ne more wiring to hook it all up an my last check went to the alt so it prolly gonna be two weeks b4 i put them back in

Did you ever upgrade your big 3? If not I would do that too in the process. And for you needing more wire, you could just get some cheap welding cable wire to wire everything else up, I've never used welding cable but my friend did in his bronco to wire up everything and it worked fine

Did you ever upgrade your big 3? If not I would do that too in the process. And for you needing more wire, you could just get some cheap welding cable wire to wire everything else up, I've never used welding cable but my friend did in his bronco to wire up everything and it worked fine

nope i need like 3 more knu candy 1/0 guage kits of the one i got ugh i wish i would have done this first bc my electrical would be top notch right now instead of being in the process but hey i gotta learn the hard way now

Better to learn the hard way than not to learn at all, atleast now you'll know if you ever upgrade to something bigger

ya ik rite trust me when i get done im hoping to have a 16 or 18 volt setup when i get my other 2 subs an my amps but for now ill just do this one step at a time
