Team Nemesis Steve
That's not just a Blazer, it's a 4 door Blazer if I was looking at the right one. The 4 Door Blazer has been one of the best SUV SPL vehicles I have ever had. Don't get me wrong, Explorers can get very loud. We have found that the Blazer/Jimmy's in that year range were built very sturdy for some serious DB's. I have a 95 GMC Jimmy with a No-Wall set-up and it got me a 156.6 sealed on the dash legal on Term-Lab at a sanctioned NSPL event. Go with the Blazer if it is a 4 door, and you will not be sorry. Marlo Stanfield
My expo has just over 120k w/ no issues so far and my step dad has one with almost 140k on it too... So i'd definitely suggest the Expo over the blazer. The other reason being that my brother has a 98 blazer w/ just over 100k and his tranny blew on him. Quote 1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer... Ben Building
Well, since opinions are so different on the truck, what about sound? In my humble opinion, the Explorers have better cabin gain effects. My boxes have always sounded better in the Expo than the Blazer. I think it's because the Explorer has those long, loose roof and floor panels.
