I have seen them go for like $500.00 a pair, but if it helps me keep the hacking on the 58 year old front end then I will take the time to save for them. Anyone have experience with air cylinders? sully Posted November 24, 2009 Report Share Posted November 24, 2009 there is no way I would run them on that car. The ride is going to be way bad unless you go with bags. There is going to be cutting either way, bags are cheaper, ride better and easier to replace if something goes wrong. I would do a Slam RE7 or a firestone 2700lb bag up front if you can get it to fit, with a good shock the ride will be amazing. testtones Posted November 24, 2009 Report Share Posted November 24, 2009 I run cylinders on the front of my t-bird and I have no problem with the ride. with a heavy car the ride is decent.
