I've been delivering since november, and even on the shittiest days (slow, low tips, bad customers, etc) I pull AT LEAST $15 an hr between pay and tips. Normally averages around $20 an hr, but I've had nights where I made $28-29 an hour. Just last saturday I worked 6-11 and made $105 in tips + $7.25 an hr. Where did some of you other guys work when you were 17? I was thinking about applying to my local Subway if they're hiring. Has anyone worked there before? I looked on the website and it said I could apply online, but I clicked the link and it gove me a PDF document. I'm kinda confused. Does it send it in for me, or do I take it to the store? And, I don't ever want to work in a pizza place, ever! And I don't want to work at Mcd's either. im ignorant and posting stupid things sorry wont happen again. Wow you must live in a rich part of town lol none of the places around here pay more than like 4.50 an hour, and tips are terrible. I think the delivery kids around here make like 12 bucks an hour AT MOST, plus cost of car maintenance doesnt make it a very viable solution. If they made that much around here, i would seriously consider it as a second job. Right now I am a blackjack dealer at the local casino, and I make from 20-23 bucks an hour, with a 20 minute PAID break every single hour. I am 19 by the way...
