It didn't change anything Didn't get a chance to check the RCA's behind the HU yet. Still have the speaker whine, it's not from RCA's grounding out behind the HU, i swapped them around and it just made it louder. Ground loop isolator didn't work either. (if that confuses you then you get the point) lol

I have not, only thing i tried was a DMM I don't have access to an o-scope Looking good. And where did you get this? Thanks, I got that on oznium for about $14. It does solid on, flash, and pulses to the music. AI James Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 some tips i may have...buy zip ties and alot of them, i zip tie even stuff thats under the carpet... your noise issue seems like a ground loop issue, id go back and check any new grounds that you made, try relocating them or be use that there isnt a ton of resistance on them.

I use to do that, but i realized when you switch stuff out. zip tying makes it a lot harder. I don't see any reason to waist my time cleaning up wires that won't be seen anyway. I understand what you're saying but it just doesnt make any sense. They aren't moving anywhere or exposed to short out so they should be fine. If it was a ground loop issue, would it be solved by a ground loop isolator? I tried that and it didn't make a difference. Thanks for the tips! Still have the whine in the speakers lol, but I'm just trying to tune it out of my head lol.
