get two more comps to repace those tens and build 1 box with some good port area.

Yeah, but my lazy ass has to upload them... and I mean you guys wanted stuff about the wiring... oh and who ever said that about the trampoline and the movement, yeah the 10's have hell of a lot of xmax where as the kicker 12's have like none, but I know that kicker comp at recommended power never have xmax to the extreme some subs do.

I'm so lost as to where people think I'm going to learn so much, my dad is 39 now, and he's been building boxes and installing systems for himself and his friends since he was 16 or so, this system was meant to be inexpensive but sound good, the 12's and tens are in there because the amp runs the sub channel at 4 ohms, running just the 10's or the 12's caused the amp to over heat, I have pics some where of the build up but IDK where they are but I had just the 12's in there for one day before we realized why it was always over heating and cutting out with just the 10's...

my point... stop saying I'm going to learn... and what not, and just say what you want me to know... what the hell am I supposed to be learning?

Anyway looks good for a starter system (first and second systems are always starter systems imo).

oh and if i where you i would clean up that amp wiring , that kind of wiring = BIG fire hazard.

The amp is rated at 300 watts max on the sub channle, which means with the way I have my subs wired, the 12's are 4 ohms... they are in parallel which means that's 2 ohms... the tens are 4 ohm's which means since they're in parallel that's 2 ohms... so 2 ohms and 2 ohms is 4 ohms... correct me if I'm wrong.

5. RMS is basically the average performance of an amp I think.... and you should go my RMS because it is more reliable that max. There is some formula for adding up the fuses in an amp and dividing it by some number to get in the area of the RMS but I forgot it, but basically I know the jist of it.

6. Online box calculator. <- Not reliable? then guess I'm wrong.

11. someone has explained this on here, but like I said the 12's and 10's are in there because other wise the amp over heats... I think they said something about phase.

13. Box flex idk? why bad... because I assume this means your box is bending, and this is prob the result of using thin MDF or too thin what ever you make your box out of, and also, I know MDF is not the only material to build out of, but yes I used 3/4 inch MDF.

again on that enclosure sub mixing what not.... I had to do the subs cause of the amp over heatin

oh and about the 2 more comps... I want to put 3 15's or maybe 4 in there but I bet I don't have this truck long enough for it to anyhting that isn't removable.... which is 90 percent of the reason for not doin a wall, or fiberglassing....
