97EXPO
the alarm was installed by local shop that closed down about 6 months ago. Anyway, it works great as in locking and unlocking doors, you can bump the truck and it gives warning then it goes off. But, I can open any door and it doesnt go off until u close the door. The interior light comes on when door is open, but alarm never goes off. Any ideas? Shock sensor is pretty sensitive Quote 2012 scion xb bagged, 2 soundqubed hdc3 12's, soundqubed 2200 for now, need alternator

Mendozauly
Do you know how to work on Alarm if not don't star to mess with all those wire under your dash. If i would have to take a guess i would have the door trigger check and have the dio check on that wire for that door if it's only on one door. I was just checking here if anybody had installed the viper 1000 to see where to start narrowing down the problem. Doylerules826
if you are fairly electrical inclined and can find the installation manual for your unit, im sure you can hook up your door triggers, its not to incredibly hard. just takes patience.
